White Upper Banlat Team toppled the Tandang Sora Avenue Black Team on the recent Batang Sora Sportsfest 2022 in Seniors Division Championship Game, ending with a challenging 94-87 triumph held last July 2, 2022.
Eugene Batara, who bagged the Most Valuable Player Award, orchestrated the team's offense driving 15 points in the scoring department.
"Nagpapasalamat ako sa SK sa pag-organize ng ganitong klaseng league... Para sa mga kabataan, magpatuloy lang tayo sa paglalaro ng basketball," Batara expressed.
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tandang Sora Chairwoman Patchie Carreon and council graced the awarding ceremony as they awarded the Mythical 5 namely - Black Tandang Sora Avenue Team: Rodel Arsolon, Ramil Bersamina; White Upper Banlat: Juaco Serrano; Purple Purok 13-E: Marleo Dacara; Light Green Apollo: Egretyale Dela Viña.
Purple Purok 13-E and Light Green Apollo battled for third. Bronze award was later rewarded to Light Green Apollo.
